I shall keep this short -
Flashback to September 2006: I am a 24 year old IT guy new to the US with no knowledge of cooking. I am in Pensacola, FL and I have been told that I am to live here for apparently a pretty long period of time. There is no Indian store or restaurant in Pensacola. And oh... did I mention that I am a vegetarian, and lazier than a slug?
It is here that I found, how hard Life can be: my first day in the kitchen .... (Mr. Bean would've been better than me)
Anyway, lets move away from painful memories. Six months down the line, I am still not the greatest of cooks, but I cook what I eat and I like what I eat - well, not always, but that's Life.
This Blog is meant for all you Lazy dummies like me who have never stepped into the kitchen and are now meant to fend for themselves for food ..

Your Dad mentioned your blogs and I took the trouble of reading them - quite well done I must say. Keep going! Do have interesting experiences with Indian names in US? When I travelled last year, all the guys could manage at airports was "the guy with all letters of the alphabet in the name"...
